Journey with Greenfield
IFS was founded in 1983 by a group of students in Linköping, among them Greenfield’s founder Bengt Nilsson. Starting out as maintenance system, IFS soon broadened its product suite and expanded first in the Scandinavian region and then globally. IFS was acquired by Swedish private equity group EQT in 2015 following a long stint as a public company on Nasdaq Stockholm. By then IFS had over 2,700 employees, supporting more than 2,400 customers worldwide from its network of local offices and through a growing ecosystem of partners that combined to create reach of approximately 1 million users in businesses all over the world, who relied on IFS’s software for mission critical business processes.
